So I was dressed and out and about trying to do some Christmas shopping yesterday. When apparently I did not come to a complete stop at a stop sign. Soon after completing my turn I see blue lights behind me. I was mortified, a motorcycle cop was pulling me over. Here I am in my black short haired wig, make-up, white blouse, black mini, stockings and knee high boots. I must say I looked and felt great leaving the house. But now, I was terrified that the officer would realize my truth since my drivers license did not match me.
He walked up along side my car, he was a big man. I rolled my window down and he asked for my license and registration. As I fumbled to locate what he asked for, he asked if I knew why he stopped me? As I turned to hand him the paperwork, I replied I did not know why he had pulled me over. Our eyes met as I was talking to him and he was damn handsome. Tall, strong with deep green eyes and a strong looking face. He had not taken off his helmet but he appeared so strong.
He looked at my license, then back at me. Oh lord, here we go I thought. He just smiled at me and told me to wait in my vehicle as he walked back to his motorcycle. Most likely to call for back up, I assumed. Ten minutes felt like an hour, but he returned to my car. Butterflies were swarming in my stomach fearing the worst. He handed back my information and his business card and said "Ma'am, you should be more careful and come to a complete stop at intersections, I wouldn't want to see anything bad happen to a beautiful lady". My jaw dropped, not only did I not get a ticket but was complimented by him, too. He said I was free to go, but hoped I might use his card and call him sometime. We parted ways, as I drove off with a big grin. I looked at his card Officer Ben, I smiled.
This morning over coffee I called Ben. We have a date tonight. I'll keep you posted how it turns out.
